Founded in 1994, Airborne Systems, Inc. is a professional flight training academy and aircraft rental company, based at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

As a Part 141, FAA approved professional flight school, we offer a well maintained fleet of Cessna and Piper single and multi-engine aircraft, including the new Cessna 172S Glass Cockpit.  Our course curriculum includes a full range of instructional flight and ground courses, from Private Pilot through Transport Pilot, including instructor certifications.

Our professional staff and qualified certified flight instructors are committed to providing the individual attention each student needs and to deliver the best learning experience possible.  Management and staff include a compliment of the finest, full-time, well-trained, professional flight and ground instructors in the industry, many of which are bilingual, and all of which hold FAA Commercial Pilot Certificates.

Airlines are hiring in record numbers. There are a few reasons for the hiring boom. First, many of the senior airline pilots are getting close to the retirement age of 65. Second, because of the reduction of the US military, there are less highly trained pilots who get out of the military and join the airlines. Third, the country as a whole is flying more than it ever did in the past. When people want to see loved ones or make a business meeting, they book a flight. Many see driving as time wasted making them tired for the event they are planning to attend.
